The exhibition “Sense” is the first solo exhibition of a young artist – Petya Ruseva from Stara Zagora. Having completed the Photo-School courses leaded by the photographer Yonko Rusev, she continues to upgrade her skills and never stops learning.
For the exhibition she has selected 31 images with different moments and emotions. Here is what she says about it:
“Welcome to my world captured through the lens! Here you will find a variety of landscapes as well as portraits that reveal the beauty of the human soul. Each frame is a part of me, my travels and encounters with people who have inspired me. Photography came into my life from a very young age. For an introverted person like me, photography is a refuge and the only way of public expression. I love the peace and quiet of nature, which is why landscapes are my favourite. Since completing my photography course, I have also rediscovered the beauty in portrait photography. Landscapes
Petya Rousseva is involved with a not so popular cause she would like to support. The sales of her artwork will be directed to “Adopt a Pit Bull” ; as a cause that fights for homeless pedigree dogs, and for other dogs housed in the municipal shelter in Gornji Bogrov. Its goal is to provide a better life at the shelter, and why not a better new home for each dog. The money raised will go towards de-worming medication, better quality food for the sick dogs and other medication.
